This page explains how Wachat users can request deletion of their personal data, account data, integration data, and related information.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

If you want to delete your Wachat account or personal data, please send a request by email to:

Use the subject line:

Data Deletion Request

To help us verify and process your request, please include:

– Your full name
– Your Wachat account email address
– Your business name or workspace name
– Your phone number, if applicable
– A short confirmation that you want your Wachat data deleted

For security reasons, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.

2. What Data Can Be Deleted

Depending on your account and service usage, you may request deletion of:

– Account profile information
– Workspace and team information
– WhatsApp integration data
– Meta and WhatsApp Business Platform connection data
– Connected phone number information
– Contacts and customer data
– Message logs and delivery records
– Chat history stored in Wachat
– Uploaded media and attachments
– API keys
– Webhook endpoints and webhook logs
– Campaigns, templates, automations, and related configuration
– Third-party integration data

3. Meta and WhatsApp Data

If you connected Wachat to Meta, Facebook Login for Business, or WhatsApp Business Platform, we may process data such as WhatsApp Business Account information, Phone Number ID, webhook events, message metadata, message content, contacts, and related integration data.

You may request deletion of this data by contacting us at:

You may also remove Wachat access from your Meta Business settings or disconnect integrations from your Wachat dashboard where available.

4. Data We May Retain

We may retain limited information when required or permitted for:

– Legal compliance
– Tax and accounting obligations
– Billing and payment records
– Fraud prevention
– Security monitoring
– Abuse prevention
– Dispute resolution
– Enforcement of our Terms and Conditions
– Compliance with Meta, WhatsApp, platform, or regulatory requirements

Data retained for these purposes will be limited to what is necessary and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

5. Processing Time

We will review and process valid deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to verification and applicable legal requirements.

In most cases, we aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

If we need more time due to technical, legal, or verification reasons, we will notify you.

6. Deleting Data from Third-Party Services

Wachat may integrate with third-party services such as Meta, WhatsApp Business Platform, WooCommerce, Shopify, Botble CMS, WHMCS, payment providers, webhook endpoints, hosting providers, and other tools.

Deleting data from Wachat may not automatically delete data stored by third-party services. You may need to contact those providers directly or remove access from their respective dashboards.

7. Account Deactivation vs Data Deletion

Disconnecting an integration, logging out of an instance, cancelling a subscription, or stopping service use may not automatically delete all account data.
